Celebrating Youth Who Lead with Purpose

Meet a few of our past awardees who are making their mark.

Jada Thompson – Class of 2022

Anaya Williams – Class of 2020

Jada Thompson – Class of 2022

Jada maintained a 3.8 GPA while leading the Black Student Union and volunteering at a local reading program. She now attends UW Tacoma, majoring in Education.

Malik Johnson – Class of 2021

As a robotics team captain and peer math tutor, Malik used his award funds to attend a STEM summer program at UW. He’s now studying Mechanical Engineering at WSU.

Anaya led campaigns around mental health awareness and was active in community forums. She's now a community organizer and recently returned to mentor new applicants.
