Who can apply?
We welcome applications from African-American students in 9th, 10th, or 11th grade who meet the following requirements:
- Attend a public school in one of these districts:
Bethel, Clover Park, Franklin Pierce, Puyallup, Steilacoom, Tacoma, or University Place - Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5

- 📅 July 17, 2026 – Transcript Due
- 📅 August 19, 2026 – Awardee Orientation
- 📅 September 19th, 2026 – Awards Ceremony at McGavick Center, Clover Park Technical College
All applicants will be reviewed after the deadline. Award recipients will be notified in August. If selected, you must attend the orientation and awards ceremony to receive your $350 incentive award.
